Welcome to this month’s Blogorail Green Loop. Today we are sharing some of the best drinks you can find at the Disney Parks & where you can find them.
If you’ve ever been to Walt Disney World, you know there’s no shortage of food and drink options to be found. Aside from the standard bottles of water and soft drinks, there are lots of other options available especially in the Magic Kingdom. From Starbucks to the Skipper Canteen, you’ve got lots of yummy options.
My personal favorite is found near the back of the park in the Storybook Circus area. By the time we reach this part of the park, we’ve usually spent several hours in the park exploring and meeting characters and riding attractions along the way. Whatever the weather, the giant tent is a great escape from the weather. Stop in to cool off a bit when it’s sunny and hot or dry off and warm up when it’s rainy or cold. Once we make it inside the tent and look around a bit, we head straight to the center of the tent to the snack area. The yummy treats are always very tempting (and sometimes we indulge in one of those too) but we always get a slush here.
Why here you ask? There are frozen drinks sold all over the Magic Kingdom. Correct but this on is my favorite because it’s less icy drinking it and the flavor is perfect. Multiple flavors are always available but the great part is that you can mix the flavors to make one just for you. Our favorite is the strawberry lemonade mix. These slushes don’t melt super quickly and when they do, it’s more like drinking actual strawberry lemonade instead of the syrup and ice chunks like other slushes.
Have you tried the Storybook Circus slushes? Do you have a favorite flavor?

I’ve never had the slushes from Storybook circus – but I think I’ll have to give them a try now! I love spending time back there, so walking around with a slush on a hot day seems like the perfect way to spend my visit. 🙂
I am such a boring drink person I’ve decided — I haven’t tried a slush, I haven’t had the PB&J shake that was mentioned, or any of the alcohol outside of what I wrote about. I’m a Diet Coke guy — but one day I’m going to try one. Thanks for sharing your post with all of us!
Oh my gosh, we are always so focused on the Disney Character Apples and cupcakes offered at Big Top Treats that we never even noticed that they sell slushies!!! What a perfect cooler on a hot Orlando day. Thanks for the Big Top tip Lynn!!
I am with Didi. I think watching the Cast Members making those delicious treats has always kept me focused. I may have to splurge on one of these for the boys. And the strawberry lemonade sounds perfect!!
I can’t believe I haven’t spent more time in this area! Now that my son is getting older, and this looks amazing, it’s a TO DO for my next trip!
