Mickey’s waiting for you! Book your Disney vacation today.
We all want the best deal possible and visiting Disney is no exception. Disney does offer different promotions and deals throughout the year so it’s worth doing a little checking before you make your reservation.
Thankfully you’ve got a few options when booking your vacation:
- On line – spending time on the Disney site checking prices at different resorts, tickets and dining plans is the perfect way for some people to book their vacation. Be sure when you book online you use your Disney account so you can keep track of everything in one spot. You’ll be able to use the My Disney Experience feature on the website to track your room, tickets, dining, FastPass+ and other reservations both on line and on your smart phone while you’re at the parks. Specials change frequently so check back often for deals – even after you’ve booked your vacation (you may need to call Disney reservations to update your existing reservation with a new booking offer).
- By phone – if making your reservation talking to a real live person is more your style, calling Disney to make your reservations will be more comfortable for you. You are able to call Disney and modify a reservation that you’ve made on line or previously by phone. Contact Disney Reservations at (407) 939-1936 to create or modify your reservations. An automated system will direct you to an agent and after holding while enjoying Disney music, you’ll get to talk to a real live person who will be able to help you.
- Using a Travel Agent – we personally use Joe DeFazio with Off to Neverland Travel to make our reservations for Disney vacations. When choosing an agent to work with, be sure they’re familiar with Disney properties and services. Also confirm all services are free. Agents are paid by Disney for your reservation so you should not be paying for their services. For us, having an agent who will modify our reservation when new deals come out is totally worth it. Being able to send a quick email with a question or change and getting a quick, complete answer that fits our family gives me peace of mind and helps me to better enjoy our trips. Our agent will make dining or tour reservations, help arrange travel if needed and book our reservations both on and off Disney property. Any changes you make to your reservation need to go through your agent – Disney isn’t able to make changes to them if you call the number listed above.
When booking your vacation, use your Disney VISA card for the deposit and payments to earn rewards points and interest free payoffs. If you’re not a Disney card holder, consider using another card that offers a discount to you for your purchases.
Check with any organizations you belong to regarding any discounts available for traveling to Disney. For example, AAA might offer members who book through them a specific deal that might not be available to the public.
However you choose to book, I suggest you get at least two different quotes for the exact same trip so you can compare apples to apples. Pricing on line through the Disney site, pricing a hotel through a discount travel site and requesting a quote from a travel agent can give you three different prices for the same experience.
As you can see, there’s really a way for everyone to make their reservation with Disney. Use the way that is most comfortable for you to help you have the most magical vacation possible.
