We all have good and bad days and are all guilty of sharing the highest and lowest points of those days. I’m just as guilty as everyone else in doing this. I’m quick to share awesomely fantastic news as I am to ask for prayers or support when dealing with not-the-best news. Today I just want to say how thankful I am for the blessings we have in our lives each and every day. They may not be the highest highs and thankfully they’re not the lowest lows.
I’m thankful I’ve got a dirty house. That means I’m blessed to have enough things to make a mess, a house to clean and healthy, happy kiddos to make the mess for me.
I’m thankful to fight about having to take showers with the boys. That means they’re healthy enough to run around and play outside and have friends to play with.
I’m thankful to have to figure out what’s for dinner. That means we’ve got food to feed our kids and enough of it to have options.
I’m thankful to fight with the kids to pack lunches and pick a snack for school. That means our pantry’s full of things for them to choose from.
I’m thankful to be completely exhausted most nights. That means I’m worn out from working hard all day, taking care of our awesome kiddos and volunteering my time to several things important to me.
I’m just so thankful for everything…I could go on and on but I’ll save some for another day 🙂
I’d love to hear some of the “every day” things you’re thankful for!
