We are spending our Thanksgiving week at Walt Disney World. Things started off well then took a drastic turn…my wifi connection messed with me most of Monday from the condo while I tried to work between parks. I took this as a sign that I needed to forget the office. After our rest, we headed to the craziness that is Magic Kingdom this week. We had FastPass+ for three attractions and had the plan of playing some Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom despite the crowds. Between a 120 minute wait for Peter Pan’s Flight and 75 minutes for Winnie the Pooh, we didn’t have many other options. Our Magic Bands started giving us fits and the My Disney Experience app wouldn’t pull up on my phone. Once we got that figured out and were able to show we did have FastPasses, we got on the Jingle Cruise. I was looking forward to the new holiday theming but was sorely disappointed(more on that later). One thing I’ve been trying to do this trip is video different shows and attractions to add to my YouTube channel to share here. At the end of our cruise, the video camera wouldn’t shut off… We put it in the stroller and didn’t think too much about it. Since we had time before our next FastPass time, we hung out and Carolina was looking at pictures on my iPhone. She was so into it that she was flagging down strangers screaming “c’mon!” to show them the pictures. In her excitement, she dropped my phone. I’ve done that hundreds of times and only had a small crack to show for it. The stars were aligned because the phone shattered completely. Technology hasn’t been my friend this trip but it’ll be ok! I’ve been taking tins if pictures with my real camera so I’ll still have lots to share and remember. Hopefully your week’s going better!
Edited to add: sorry for the shortness-blogging from an iPad isn’t easy! More to come (hopefully) soon!
