Disclosure: I received a copy of Magical Mouse Schoolhouse to review. All opinions are my own.
Being a Neurotic Disney Person (NDP), I was so excited to receive a copy of Magical Mouse Schoolhouse to review. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the book other than ways to bring out the educational side of Disney. While I was on the right track with the book, it was much better than I had anticipated. Jodi does a really fantastic job making everything completely relatable while covering a wide variety of topics in the book.
Each chapter is a different “lesson” complete with some background or history about the topic and an activity to do that supports the concept outlined in the background and history. My nine and seven year olds thought this book was a wonderful treat. They didn’t look at it as learning things. For them it was another way to have Disney fun at home. A majority of the things they could do on their own but there were a few that they need help or supervision with. Before handing the book over, I did read through almost all of it so I knew what they’d be doing. I tried being a good mom and going through different chapters with them and doing the activity, but I think they had more fun on their own picking out their favorites.
This book is a great way to count down the days until your next Disney vacation or relive some of your favorite moments from a past trip. You need to make sure you get your copy today!!
I also shared a bit about Magical Mouse Schoolhouse over on my YouTube channel so be sure to take some time to check it out!
