Disclosure: I was provided a copy of the Peter and the Wolf app to review. All reviews are my own honest thoughts and opinions.
Sometimes when you’re waiting in line, you reach a point where you let the kids have some screen time to give everyone a bit of a break. I promise you’ll be getting no judgement from me if your kids are enjoying a little bit of screen time while waiting during your vacation. Here are some ideas for when the Peter and the Wolf app might come in handy:
Waiting in Line
Lines are familiar to everyone visiting Walt Disney World and it’s a challenge for everyone to have to wait, especially when you’re tired or hungry. Having an story app like Peter and the Wolf to help calm down and distract from the actual amount of time waiting can make the wait less painful for everyone.
Parades and Shows
One of the bonus features in the Peter and the Wolf app is learning about the music from the app. Listen to the music in the app and see if any of it reminds you of places you’ve visited during your vacation. Some of it might be new/different music your kids will be exposed to.
Rope Drop or Resting
Alice Cooper does a fantastic job narrating the Peter and the Wolf app in a calm, relaxing voice. Listening to the story while you’re waiting for the park to open is a calm way to wake up and get ready for your day. It will also be relaxing at the end of the day when your kids are winding down for the night.
