Welcome to 2014!! I hope the holidays were very enjoyable for you and your family. Maybe you were even lucky enough to squeeze in some fun and relaxation as well. For so many this morning they’re freezing, snowed in or both! Being a former northerner, I know what it’s like so I hope you’re all staying safe and warm at home. An extra day of winter break isn’t always a bad thing.
The holidays here in the South weren’t too bad. Overall the weather was nice, we even got some much needed rain over a couple of days. Santa managed to find our house and overlook some of the bad choices that were made during the year to bring the boys new bikes and the princess the Little Tykes Klip Klop Stable. Happy kiddos for sure!
Since the kids were out of school for two weeks, hubby and I split up the time we were at work so one of us was home with the kids. Let me tell you – not only did I enjoy being at home with my babies all day long, I got so many of those things that always fall down to the bottom of the “to do” list finally done! Lots of cleaning happened which is always a good thing. Dressers, closets, spare bedroom and even the playroom all look a bit more tidy now. I’m counting on Santa to work some magic this year and come visit us in a new house next year. Fingers crossed that it all works out this year.
One of the things I worked on was uploading some of our Disney videos to the new My Pixie Dust Diary YouTube channel! Not all of the videos are new, but they’re Disney related none the less. I’ll be sharing them with you in posts here but if you just can’t wait, you’re welcome to go check them out now.
I’ve got a few other things up my sleeve for the site that I can’t wait to share with you over the next several months. Hours of planning happened over the last couple of weeks and I’m pumped to be able to bring you some really fun things.
Ok you heard about my boring holiday, now tell me all about yours! I can’t wait to hear. And if you head over to the YouTube channel, let me know what you think. Anything you’d like to see from the parks?
