Alright ladies, I know you’re still upset over the lack of fanfare over Mother’s Day just over a month ago but Father’s Day is almost upon us. I’m sure you’ve already started working on amazing plans for the special dad in your life, but if you haven’t, here are some suggestions.
Rene Syler of Good Enough Mother was lucky enough to check out some really cool things to get some ideas for Father’s Day gift giving. While they’re really cool, sadly they won’t fit into everyone’s budget but maybe something will work for you or spark an idea for you.
I love homemade or kid-made things too!! My boys are always so proud of the stuff they make whether it’s just an ordinary day or a holiday. Here’s a link to a poem the kids can fill in about their daddy. Here‘s a template to make Dad some coupons to help him out around the house. I’m sure he’ll love some help with taking out the trash, walking the dog or mowing the lawn. Even better, he’d probably love a coupon to play video games or go golfing (at least that’s what my husband would prefer). Disney’s also got some great ideas for homemade gifts too. Be sure to check them out.
One of my favorite things ever to make is a photo book of pictures, artwork, quotes and sayings throughout the year. I’ve used Shutterfly several times in the past and have always had good luck with their books. I’ve also used Picaboo and like their books as well.
The Disney Store also has a huge variety of things to order for Dad. Be sure to order soon. You can get 2 Day Express shipping for an additional charge.
Don’t forget your card with Dad’s gifts. If you didn’t grab one at the store, go here to make one.
What are your big weekend plans to celebrate the Dad in your life??
