If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times in the last four months: Things have gotten a little crazy in our house lately. We are so blessed to have our amazing kiddos and I wouldn’t change anything. Thankfully Sis is pretty laid back and goes with whatever we’re doing. She’s starting to get chatty now which is fun. Currently she’s in size 2 diapers, 3 – 6 month clothes and is four months old.
Our current debate (that we’ve had since I was pregnant) is to pierce or not to pierce. I think it’s adorable but know how much it hurts to sleep with earrings in. Friends of ours who’s baby is 11 days older recently pierced her ears and said they wouldn’t wait much longer to do it. Their baby fussed a little bit but not nearly as much as I thought a little one would. I guess if we’re going to do it, we probably should in the next month or so.
Sis has got tons of dark curly hair (just like her mommy) but it’s starting to come in lighter so I’m curious to see what happens there. She’s been subjected to lots of headbands and even some bows in her hair already. I’m not seeing an end in site for that 😉 I’m still waiting to see what her eyes are going to do. They’re not really blue and not really brown. My oldest son has hazel colored eyes so I’m thinking hers might be the same way.
While we were on vacation earlier this summer, she surprised us all and rolled over out of the blue. At first I thought it was a fluke but when she did it two more times, I knew she’d figured it out. The boys have been amused by this very much now that she can move. I’ve tried to warn them it won’t be nearly as cool when she’s in their things but so far it’s still fun.
Speaking of the boys, they’ve been beyond amazing with her. They’re there when she’s crying or laughing and Corbin’s even volunteered to change diapers! Each of them help with different things like picking out her outfits for the day and making bottles. It’s great to know I worried for nothing wondering if they’d be close and how they’d all get along.
Teeth don’t seem to be too far off. Sis has been drooling and chewing on anything she can fit into her mouth for about the past month. No tell tale signs of a tooth appearing yet but I’m sure they’ll be making an appearance very soon.
Here are some pictures of the little princess:
